Published on September 24, 2019, Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba recently addressed rumors surrounding his marriage to Kenyan wife Amina Khalef.
Ali Kiba's marriage to Amina Khalef had been the subject of speculation, with some reports suggesting the couple had divorced just two years after tying the knot in a low-key wedding in Mombasa.
The rumors gained traction on social media when Ali Kiba's younger brother, Abdu, held his son's birthday party at his brother's house, and their wives failed to show up.
Speaking to Bongo Five, Ali Kiba cautioned social media users to be mindful of the content they share, stating, "Muda mwingine ni vizuri kuishi maisha ya kibinadamu na asilia…Unatakiwa uamini unachokiona sio unachokisikia."
He emphasized the importance of using social media responsibly, urging users to avoid sharing content for the sake of it, saying, "Tusiishi sana social media, kwa sababu zipo kwa sababu ya kazi flani. Tuzitumie vizuri kwa sababu kuna inchi zingine zimekataza izo kutokana na adhari ambayo wanahisi kwamba inaweza kuaribu jamii."
Ali Kiba also addressed claims that his wife had refused to stay in Tanzania with his mother and siblings, stating, "I have not taken her back to Mombasa. It is also not true that she refused to stay with my mother and siblings. Stop spreading lies and work."
Ali Kiba went on to acknowledge that his marriage has faced its share of troubles but denied reports of a divorce, saying, "It is true our marriage is on the rocks, but it is not true that I have divorced her."
