Published on September 24, 2019, Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba has been making headlines with his marital issues. The 31-year-old singer has sent his wife Amina Khalef back to Kenya, citing issues in their marriage.
Ali Kiba, who tied the knot with Amina in April 2018 in two lavish wedding ceremonies held in Mombasa and Dar es Salaam, admitted that their marriage has not been a bed of roses. However, he denied claims that they had divorced.
"It is true that my wife and I have issues, which is normal for any couple. I returned her to her parent's home. I wanted her to also go back to work, I then traveled to Europe," he said in a recent interview with Tanzanian radio presenter Diva The Bause.
Ali Kiba also addressed rumors that his mother was the source of their disagreements, saying: “My mother is not at the center of our marital wrangles. If anything, it was my mother who reconciled us every other time a dispute between my wife and me arose.”
The couple welcomed their first-born child in February this year, adding to the speculation surrounding their marriage.
