With the Kibra by-election just around the corner, the opposition's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is exuding confidence in their candidate, Imran Okoth.

Speaking at a campaign rally, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna dismissed the threat posed by Jubilee Party's celebrity candidate McDonald Mariga, saying they don't fear him.

"This boy Mariga doesn't scare us," Sifuna said, adding that if Jubilee Party wanted to field a stronger candidate, they could consider global football stars like Lukaku, Messi, or Ronaldo.

Mariga, a retired Kenyan international footballer, remains the only East African footballer to win the coveted Uefa Champions League trophy.
