Former Citizen TV presenter Jacque Maribe has been out of the public eye since her resignation in September 2018. Her friend and colleague Kirigo Ngarua has now revealed that Jacque is doing well.
According to Kirigo, Jacque was doing just fine, despite the challenges she faced after her fiancé, Joseph Irungu alias Jowie, was arrested over the murder of Nairobi business lady Monica Kimani.
After Jowie's arrest, Jacque was captured by authorities and later released on a cash bail of KSh 2 million. She has since made a few public appearances but has stayed off social media.
Kirigo shared a photo of herself and Jacque merry-making at an undisclosed club, which suggests that Jacque is indeed doing well.
It is worth noting that Jacque was a suspect in Monica Kimani's murder, but she was later released on bail.
