The Federation of Kenyan Employers (FKE) has released the results of a survey that identifies the best companies to work for in Kenya in 2019. The survey, conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), ranked Safaricom, East African Breweries Ltd, and Standard Chartered Bank among the top performers.
The survey, which ran from May 23 to the end of July, involved an online assessment of organizations in eight thematic areas, with scores weighted towards workplace environment and HR practices.
After reviewing the data and conducting site visits, PwC identified the following companies as the best employers in Kenya:
- Safaricom PLC
- East African Breweries Ltd
- Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Limited
- Centum Investment Company Limited
- Kenya Electricity Generating Company Plc
- Bamburi Cement Limited
- Liberty Life Assurance Kenya and Heritage Insurance Kenya Limited
- Tata Chemicals Magadi Limited (TCML)
- Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi
- Crown Paints Kenya Plc
The results of the survey were announced at the FKE Employer of the Year Awards 2019, where Safaricom was named the top employer.
