Kenyan musician Ali Kiba has revealed that his marriage to Amina Khalef is not without its challenges, but he has not divorced her.
Speaking to a Tanzanian radio presenter, Diva The Bause, Kiba admitted that he and his wife have issues, but they are not divorced.
He explained that he had returned his wife to her parents' home, allowing her to go back to work, as she had previously expressed a desire to do so due to her education.
When he returned from Europe, Amina told him she was fine and he could visit her at any time, but Kiba stated that they are currently doing their own thing.
He also clarified that divorce is not something to be publicly announced, and that his mother had helped bring them back together, teaching him that marriage requires patience and commitment.
Ali Kiba also addressed rumors that his wife was accused of witchcraft, which he denied, and stated that Amina is not a people's person, as some had claimed.
He emphasized that he is allowed to have multiple wives according to his customs and religion, and that if Amina were to leave him, it would be easy for him to get married again the next day.
Despite the rumors and challenges in his marriage, Kiba urged people to respect his relationship and stop meddling in his personal life.
He also clarified that his baby mama and he have a good co-parenting relationship and that she has never stepped into his home since their marriage.
As Amina returns to Kenya for work, fans hope that the couple will be able to resolve their issues and move forward.
