Women's fertility declines with age, making it increasingly difficult to conceive and carry a pregnancy to term. According to science, this decline accelerates significantly after the age of 42.

For Kendra Michaels, Sanura Kassim, also known as Mama Diamond, this reality is about to become a harsh reality. At over 50 years old, she is pregnant with her husband, Rally Jones. However, her age poses a significant challenge to carrying the pregnancy to term.

Advances in assisted reproductive technology, particularly egg donation, have made pregnancy over 50 possible for more women. However, this comes with increased risks, including gestational diabetes, hypertension, and miscarriage. Mothers over 50 are also at a higher risk of low birth weight, premature birth, and fetal mortality.

It is essential to note that the female biological clock can vary greatly from woman to woman. A woman's individual level of fertility can be tested through various methods.

As reported by Wikipedia, pregnancy complications increase with the mother's age. Risks associated with childbearing over 50 include an increased incidence of gestational diabetes, hypertension, delivery by caesarean section, miscarriage, preeclampsia, and placenta previa.
