Published on September 23, 2019, a new behind-the-scenes video of Jennifer Lopez's Hustlers has revealed that she did some of her own makeup for the movie.
According to the video, J.Lo spent 29 days filming her part in Hustlers, during which she also took time to do her own makeup, including her lips, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and foundation.
"I feel good. I’m about to head to the set," J.Lo says to someone on FaceTime while she’s doing her makeup.
As seen in the video, J.Lo is shown painting her lips while someone holds a palette for her, lining her eyes, doing her eye shadow, and putting on mascara. She even picks up a brush and starts dusting away at her foundation when a makeup artist turns his back.
Makeup skills aside, J. Lo worked hard to transform into Ramona, doing pole dance training for two months and even smoking to get into character.
"There was a blinged-out lighter that I would hold every day," she told Vanity Fair. "Sometimes I would smoke one of the cigarettes or something and just kind of stay in the mindset of Ramona."
