At the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, Game of Thrones was honored for its final season, but fans were left wondering about the absence of Bran Stark, the show's new ruler, during the show's tribute.
According to Time, the answer to this question is quite simple: the actors featured on stage were only those who were nominated for acting honors for the final season. With such an expansive cast, it was impossible to fit everyone up there.
Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who played Bran Stark, was not among the cast members who appeared on stage to take a bow for the ending of the show. However, co-stars John Bradley and Liam Cunningham were seen near him in the crowd shots, so he wasn't the only one left out of the fun.
During the show, Tyrion Lannister, played by Peter Dinklage, famously asked, "Who has a better story than Bran the Broken?" While Tyrion was considered the most intelligent character in the show, it seems like the Emmy voters might have closed their run out with one last disagreement.
