Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has rejected MP Jaguar's challenge to a physical fight, saying he will focus on serving his constituents rather than engaging in such confrontations.
On Sunday, MP Jaguar, from Starehe, said he was ready to teach Babu Owino a lesson for allegedly insulting Deputy President William Ruto.
"Your Excellency there is a young boy called Babu Owino who insulted you recently. I am asking your permission to let me beat up that boy again and embarrass him, your Excellency," MP Jaguar said, asking DP Ruto for permission to beat up Owino.
However, Babu Owino has turned down the challenge, saying he will not waste his energy on such confrontations.
"Ati commander wa Starehe alisema nini?Mimi nguvu yangu nitaitumia kwa kupigania walionichagua,vijana wenzangu na wanyonge katika jamii....Vita nitakayopigana ni ya maendeleo pekee," Babu Owino said in a Facebook post.
It's worth noting that the two MPs have a history of confrontation, having exchanged blows at Parliament buildings in October 2017.
