Despite failing to win any of their six matches so far, coach Paul Bitok remains optimistic about the team's progress.
"We played better and are continuing to improve," Bitok said, highlighting the team's ability to create more chances in attack and improve their reception.
Team captain Mercy Moim echoed Bitok's sentiments, stating that the team is going forward and playing better with each passing day.
Kenya's most productive player in their recent match against Japan was Edith Wisa, who contributed 11 points overall.
The team will face another tough challenge against China on Tuesday afternoon.
