Pastor James Ng'ang'a has dismissed circulating videos of himself on social media, calling them fake and malicious.

The preacher, who spoke to Word Is, claimed the videos were shared by 'demon-possessed' people trying to bring down his church.

'I do a lot of good things. I feed people, but they only focus on the bad things I say because they are possessed,' he said.

Ng'ang'a also denied claims that he was contemplating suicide, saying it was unrealistic for him to do so given his comfortable life.

'Who will I leave my beautiful wife with? My cars? My home? My neighbours are foreigners, and we just greet each other,' he said.

He warned his critics to stop spreading fake information about his preaching, saying they were jealous of his success.

'I am from the wilderness and I preach for people who are from the wilderness. The rest can look for their churches,' Ng'ang'a said.
