On September 23, 2019, a tragic incident occurred at Precious Talent School in Dagoretti, leaving eight students dead, including Emma Edambo.

Emma, a candidate at the school, had spent the previous day at her father's church, The Gate of Holiness Worship Centre in Ng'ando, marking her prayer day in preparation for exams.

She was part of the choir at the church and led worship at her prayer day event.

On the fateful morning of September 23, 2019, a classroom at Precious Talent School collapsed, injuring several students, including Emma.

She was rushed to Medihill Hospital in Kawangware with head and chest injuries but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Her grief-stricken mother was seen camping at the Chiromo mortuary, where Emma's remains were taken.

Some parents who witnessed the scene described it as 'gory,' with some students having their limbs separated.

One parent was quoted as saying, 'THE INJURIES ARE SO BAD, SOME OF THEM HAVE SEPARATED LIMBS, IT'S A GORY SIGHT.'
