Published on September 23, 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived in New York for the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 74).
As the President prepares to address the high-level General Debate on Wednesday, September 25, he has a packed itinerary that includes several side events, bilateral meetings, and courtesy calls from various interest groups, including Kenyans living in the US.
On Monday morning, the President will meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, followed by engagements on climate change, Universal Health Coverage (UHC), counter-terrorism, and the blue economy throughout the week.
