The burial of murdered Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen has been postponed to Tuesday, September 24, 2019, due to a shortage of Jewish priests.

Initially, the burial was planned for Monday afternoon at the Jewish Cemetery on Prof Wangari Mathai Road in Nairobi, but the planners only managed to secure eight Jewish priests, short of the required 10.

As a result, the burial has been rescheduled to Tuesday at 2:30 pm.

Ms Sarah Wairimu, Tob Cohen's widow, had arrived at the cemetery on Monday for the private ceremony, which was to be attended by a few family members. The media was barred from the event.

Robert Cohen, Tob Cohen's brother, and lawyer Danstan Omari were also in attendance.
