On September 23, 2019, British American Tobacco (BAT) Kenya announced the appointment of Image Registrars Limited as its official shares registrars, effective October 1, 2019.
As of this new arrangement, all shareholder queries, registration for transfer of shares, dividend claims, and immobilisation of shares will be handled by Image Registrars Limited.
Additionally, BAT Kenya has stated that any unclaimed dividends outstanding for more than three years will be surrendered to the Unclaimed Financial Assets Authority, and shareholders are urged to lodge their claims with the shares registrars.
Image Registrars Limited also provides services to other listed companies, including KenGen, Britam, Standard Chartered, Kenolkobil, and Safaricom PLC.
