On September 22, 2019, a disturbing video of Pastor James Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism ministries went viral, showing him physically abusing a young worshiper in an attempt to 'exorcise' him of demons.
The video, which has sparked widespread outrage, appears to show the pastor shoving and slapping the young boy, before proceeding to subject a section of his congregation to the same treatment.
One woman in the congregation was particularly singled out by the pastor, who was seen shoving and chasing her around the church.
The video has attracted the attention of global celebrities, including American rapper Snoop Dogg, who posted it on his Instagram account with the caption: 'When you are late with the offering but the Reverend needs his money.'
