Published on September 23, 2019, Tanzanian tabloids have been spreading rumors about Alikiba's marriage to Kenyan wife Amina Khalef.
However, the singer has come out to clear the air, confirming that they have issues but have not parted ways.
"It's true that my wife and I have problems, but it's a common issue in any marriage, and I haven't filed for divorce," Alikiba said in an interview with Clouds FM.
He warned bloggers and rumor mongers against enjoying others' suffering, stating that no one has the right to rejoice in someone else's problems.
"People should not enjoy others' suffering, or perhaps it's a lack of work. There's nothing that the Almighty has allowed and condemned as divorce. Humanity gets courage to encourage others to give up on their marriages, it's just the devil who likes that foolishness," he added.
Alikiba explained that his wife was seen in Mombasa because he was leaving for a Europe tour, and he took her to their home in Mombasa so she could work as a professional.
He praised his mother-in-law for being their mediator when they have issues in the family.
"My mother-in-law is our main mediator when my wife and I have disagreements, I don't like people who try to disrespect her," stated the emotional Alikiba.
