On a dramatic Sunday, September 22, 2019, Arsenal staged a stunning comeback to beat Aston Villa 3-2 in a Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Aston Villa took an early lead through John McGinn just 20 minutes into the game, dominating the opening exchanges of the clash.

However, a clumsy tackle by Ainsley Maitland-Niles on an Aston Villa player four minutes into the break earned him a red card, forcing Arsenal to play with one man less for the majority of the match.

Despite being down a man, Arsenal equalized through Nicolas Pepe, who made no mistake from the penalty spot after the restart.

However, Aston Villa restored their lead just a minute later through Wesley, leaving Arsenal chasing the game once again.

With nine minutes left on the clock, Calum Chambers equalized for Arsenal, before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sealed a 3-2 dramatic win for the Gunners.
