Nollywood actress Oluyomi Victoria Olaniyi-Toluwalope, who made her acting debut as a child, has died at the age of 39.
According to a tribute website created in her honor, Oluyomi was battling an undisclosed illness before her passing.
Oluyomi's death was announced on Thursday, September 12, leaving fans and friends in shock.
She rose to fame as a child star in the drama series 'The Third Eye', where she played the role of Olu Jacobs' child.
After her acting career, Oluyomi pursued a Law degree in a Nigerian university.
Friends and fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to the late actress, describing her as a breathtaking woman with a whole life ahead of her.
A friend, Jo, wrote a heartfelt message, saying, 'This is so hard to write. I cannot believe you are gone. You were a good good friend come rain or shine. I remember when we were both planning our weddings and the challenges we faced. I always wished I had half the patience and grace you had. Death is rude! But I rejoice that you are at peace and now in my future darling Yomi. See you in heaven.'
