Bungoma Student Dies in Road Accident

Published on September 22, 2019, a student at Kaimosi Teachers College in Bungoma County lost his life in a tragic road accident on the Bungoma-Malaba highway.

The student, who was set to graduate next month, died instantly when a boda boda he was riding on collided with a truck at Ndegelwa market.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when the truck rammed into the boda boda, causing fatal injuries to the student.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of the stretch of road, with many accidents reported in recent times.

Witnesses have called on the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) to take immediate action to prevent future accidents, including the installation of speed bumps.
