On Sunday, a tragic incident occurred on the Lamu-Garsen road in Lamu, Kenya, resulting in the death of a 50-year-old man.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was riding a motorcycle towards Hindi when a police van, driven by a suspected drunk driver, collided with him.
According to Mokowe OCS Bisengi, the police vehicle involved in the incident belongs to his station, and investigations have begun to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The body of the deceased is currently being preserved at the Mpeketoni Hospital mortuary.
