Five Women's Bitter Fight Over Boda Boda Man's Body ¶
On a day that was meant to be a somber occasion, a bizarre scene unfolded at the Kerugoya County Referral Hospital mortuary on September 22, 2019.
Five women, each claiming to be the rightful wife of the deceased boda boda man, appeared at the facility, leaving mourners and hospital staff stunned.
The drama began when one of the women arrived at the mortuary to collect the body of her husband, only to find two other women seeking a burial permit and claiming to be the deceased's wife.
Before she could process the shock, two more women appeared, one carrying a baby and the other pregnant, all claiming to be the rightful wife of the deceased man.
The situation was so chaotic that Kanyekini MCA, Harrison Ngiria, had to intervene to resolve the matter.
After some deliberation, the remains of the boda boda man were finally laid to rest in Ngomongo Village, with all five women in attendance.
