On September 22, 2019, Reuben Kimani, CEO of Username Investment Ltd., was honored with the 2019 Realtor Founder of the Year Award at the Founder of the Year Awards Gala Dinner held at The Nairobi Cinema.
The event, organized by The Founder, brought together exceptional young founders from various sectors, including Real Estate, Agri-business, Entertainment, Fashion and Beauty, ICT, and Education.
Receiving the award, Reuben Kimani expressed his gratitude to the company's esteemed customers and staff members, who he credited as the key pillars of their significant progress.
"I am deeply humbled to receive this award. Many thanks to our esteemed customers for your continued faith in us. Our Staff Members remain the key pillars of the significant progress we have made. I value and celebrate you," Reuben Kimani said.
He also encouraged upcoming entrepreneurs to be open-minded, practically evaluate themselves and the market, and take up emerging opportunities in Kenya and Africa.
Reuben Kimani emphasized the potential of real estate as a high-returning asset class, with average returns of 25.8 percent compared to other asset classes' average returns of 12.3 percent.
Under his leadership, Username Investments has accomplished over 37 projects, issued over 6,152 title deeds to clients, and directly employed over 50 young people, with many more indirectly employed.
Reuben Kimani's efforts have earned the company accolades across the industry for outstanding performance, including the 2019 African Business Personality Award.
