Naivasha, Kenya, hosted the Chloride Exide Hill Climb competition on September 21, 2019, which saw Onkar Rai set the fastest stage time on all three opening heats.

Rai, a past winner of the spectator event, recorded 2min.52.379secs in the first heat on the uphill stage, a four-kilometer stretch that has been graded to allow competitors to achieve high speeds.

Among the 32 machines participating in the competition were buggies, bikes, and quads, with Rai's Volkswagen car being one of the top performers.

Former motocross champion Shivam Vinayak was the fastest on his bike, setting the second-quickest time of the day, while Nanyuki-based Kunal Patel drove his Buggy to the fourth-fastest time.

The competition, dubbed 'Powerlast Hill Climb', was organized by the Rift Valley Motor Sports Club and sponsored by Chloride Exide.
