The Ghana Premier League is set to make a comeback on November 3, 2019, marking the end of a 17-month hiatus. The suspension was triggered by the collapse of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in June 2018.

A draft calendar for the 2019-20 football season, seen by Goal, indicates that the topflight league will resume nine days after the GFA presidential election on October 25, 2019.
