On his journey to the Ironman triathlon, fitness YouTuber Nick Bare has been pushing his limits since May. In a recent video, he revealed the grueling six-hour workout he's been undertaking, which left him shedding a staggering eight pounds in just six hours.

With over three months of intense training under his belt, Bare's pre-Ironman workout has become increasingly demanding. The video shows him completing an hour of endurance cycling and a 10-minute run, but he upped the ante by extending the bike ride to four hours and the run to two hours.

Starting at 198 pounds, Bare cycled 68 miles, splitting the four-hour ride into two sections – one through towns and one through the countryside. After replenishing his electrolytes, he embarked on the running portion of his workout, covering 12 miles in just two hours. The entire ordeal took place in scorching temperatures.

At the end of the grueling workout, Bare had dropped nearly eight pounds, weighing in at 190.6 pounds. To replenish his energy, he devoured a well-deserved calorific meal and chugged huge volumes of water to hyper-hydrate. He also used the PowerDot machine on his legs for muscle stimulation, stating, "I use it for pre-workout sometimes, to warm up. But after the bricks, I use it for 40 minutes for recovery."
