DCI Kenya Uncovers Stolen or Illegally Registered Vehicles in Eldoret

On Friday, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) released a list of vehicles suspected to be stolen or illegally registered, recovered from a yard in Ndaptabwa Kipsimo, Eldoret.

According to the DCI's Twitter account, detectives arrested one suspect, Gideon Kipkoech Kichwen, in connection to the vehicles.

The vehicles include:

  • 1. KBD 365G Mercedes Benz saloon, Blue
  • 2. KCA 740J Toyota Hilux, Green
  • 3. KCB 499B Toyota Premio, White
  • 4. KBY 600V Subaru Forester, Silver
  • 5. KAX 695S Mitsubishi FH
  • 6. KAY 108U Toyota Premio Colona, Green
  • 7. KAG 288P Tractor
  • 8. KAT 165S Mitsubishi Pickup, White
  • 9. KAH 929F Tractor-New Holland (100-90), Blue
  • 10. KTCB 534J Tractor-New Holland (80-665)
  • 11. KTCB 773S Tractor-New Holland (100-90)
  • 12. KAJ 995P Isuzu Pickup, White

Further investigations into the matter are ongoing, with the motor vehicles kept as exhibits, according to the DCI.

The officers also recovered one number plate with the registration number KAM 810L.
