On September 21, 2019, Tob Cohen's will was presented to his siblings Bernard and Gabrielle Van Straten.

According to the will, Cohen did not leave any property or cash to his widow Sarah Wairimu, who is the main suspect in his murder.

Instead, Cohen willed his Sh400 million matrimonial home to his sister Gabrielle and her children.

He also divided 50 per cent of his estate between his sister Gabrielle and his brother Bernard, with 25 per cent going to Gabrielle's two daughters and another 25 per cent to Bernard.

Additionally, Cohen left Sh150 million in two separate bank accounts to his sister Gabrielle.

The will also specified that Cohen be laid to rest according to Jewish tradition, with directions given for where his body would be laid to rest.
