On September 20, 2019, an Eldoret court ordered police to hold King Ogachi Joshua, the prime suspect in the murder of female cop Robinah Moraa, for three more days due to his deteriorating health.
Joshua, who is accused of killing his estranged lover, Robinah Moraa, was initially taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) after his arrest due to a failed suicide attempt.
Prosecution requested five days to conduct an identification parade and gather statements from crucial witnesses, citing that Joshua was still too sick to be charged.
Ms. Moraa, a police officer attached to Naiberi Police Station in Ainabkoi Sub County, was found murdered at her rented house in Miti Moja Estate on the outskirts of Eldoret town.
