September 20, 2019, marked a special day for Friends fans as Google celebrated the show's 25th anniversary with a series of Easter eggs in its search results.

When users search for a main character from the show, they are treated to a special icon on the knowledge panel, accompanied by a soundbite or a fun interaction. For instance, searching for Ross Geller brings up an icon of a couch, which triggers a soundbite of Ross yelling 'Pivot!' when clicked.

Other characters, such as Phoebe Buffay and Rachel Green, have their own Easter eggs, with Phoebe's search result featuring an image of a guitar that plays 'Smelly Cat' when clicked, and Rachel's search result displaying an icon of The Rachel haircut that leads to a Google Images search results page.

Google also included a 'Friends glossary' Easter egg, which provides a list of show-related lingo, such as 'transponster,' 'Joey's apple,' and 'Holiday Armadillo.'
