On September 20, 2019, Tanzanian musician Ali Kiba addressed rumors surrounding his family in an interview with Clouds FM.
Ali Kiba's decision to speak out came after gossip from Tanzania portrayed him and his family as bullies who subject his wife to mental anguish.
His mother's poor health, allegedly caused by the gossip, prompted Ali Kiba to defend her against claims she hates his wife.
'My mother is the one who resolves our conflicts when my wife and I disagree,' Ali Kiba said emotionally during the interview. 'I will not tolerate anyone disrespecting my mother's dignity. My wife is also my mother, and we must respect our mothers.'
