On July 14, 2018, Valary Jemeli paced to win the 21 kilometre women category during the 2nd edition of the Kabarak University Half Marathon.
The third edition of the Kabarak Half Marathon is set to take place tomorrow, with experienced runners enlisted to participate in the event.
The road race, themed 'Crossing the Equator to support a needy student,' will be run from Mogotio to Kabarak University on a purely tarmac route throughout the distance.
According to Race Director James Cheruiyot, registration of runners has increased after the deadline was extended from September 14 to the evening of the same day.
Besides the 21km races, there will be 10km races for men and women and the 5km for corporate teams.
