Published on September 20, 2019, Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz is currently in Iringa, Tanzania with the Wasafi crew ahead of this weekend's Wasafai Festival.
While addressing fans recently before performing at a concert, Diamond Platnumz expressed his frustration with fake friends who pretend to be supportive but are actually hypocrites and backstabbers.
He emphasized that such friends will laugh and dine with you when you're in love, but deep down, they are hypocrites who will even advise you on relationship matters but have ulterior motives.
He went on to sing his song 'Ukimwona,' which talks about pretenders, and emphasized on lyrics that warn against such friends.
His comments come after his ex-girlfriend Hamisa Mobetto shared a series of videos singing along to the same song's lyrics, sparking speculation that they had reignited their love. The two have a child together but broke up last year.
Meanwhile, Diamond Platnumz is expecting a fourth child with his third baby mama Tanasha Donna.
