According to Kipkemboi, he had initially planned to bet on Arsenal men as they played against Watford, but his luck struck when he mistakenly picked Arsenal women, who were playing against Man United in the FA Women’s Super League.
Had he placed the correct bet, Kipkemboi would have lost the bet as the Gunners were held by Watford after a shambolic defensive display.
Speaking about his betting strategy, Kipkemboi revealed that he picked it from his father, who has been betting on sports for over 40 years.
