James Situma: Ex-Kenyan International Returns to Class After Retirement ¶
Former Kenyan international James Situma has returned to class, barely three months after he retired from active football. He has enrolled in a Business Administration course at Zetech University, which he attended the mandatory orientation on Thursday, September 19, 2019.
Upon completion of the business course, Situma will undertake a course in Sports Management, according to the Thika Road-based institution. This move is aimed at empowering him to expertly handle the affairs of the Kenya Footballers Welfare Association (KEFWA), which he is the president of.
Earlier, Situma officially called it quits on active football after a trophy-laden career spanning over a decade. He began his club football journey with Nzoia FC before joining World Hope, who he helped win the GoTV Cup. He later joined Sofapaka in 2006, who he helped win the GoTV Cup the following year and the league title in 2009.
