Reality TV star Mike Johnson and singer Demi Lovato have been making headlines with their budding romance. The pair first sparked rumors of a potential relationship in July when Demi posted a series of flirtatious messages on Instagram, including a screenshot of a conversation where she wrote, "Mike, I accept your rose."
Fast forward to September, and the rumors have finally been confirmed. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mike revealed that he and Demi have been on a date and have been talking. He gushed about Demi, saying, "The woman is quite astounding and amazing. And that’s all I’ll say on that."
When asked about the current stage of their relationship, Mike remained tight-lipped, saying only that they are "two people exploring each other." However, he did open up about Demi's down-to-earth personality, saying, "She’s incredibly humble, and when Demi and I are together, it’s laughter and we talk about real sht."
It's worth noting that Demi's friend, Hannah Brown, may have played a role in setting the pair up. After all, Demi did attend part two of The Bachelorette finale, where she and Hannah ate windmill cookies together. Hannah has also been supportive of Demi's relationship with Mike, saying, "They’re both great humans, and if they’re into each other, then that’s great."
As for Mike, he's definitely available - at least for now. He was recently passed over as the next Bachelor, but it seems he's found love in the unlikeliest of places.
