On September 19, 2019, Huawei unveiled the Mate 30 series, a lineup of high-end smartphones that promise to deliver exceptional performance and features.

The Huawei Mate 30 is one of the flagship devices in the series, boasting a stunning 6.62-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a pixel density of 402 ppi. The display also features an 18.7:9 aspect ratio, making it ideal for watching videos and browsing the web.

Under the hood, the Mate 30 is powered by the Huawei Kirin 990 processor, a high-performance chip that features an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.86GHz, two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.36GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.95GHz. The processor is also paired with a dual NPU (neural processing unit) for enhanced AI performance.

The Mate 30 also features a quad-camera setup with a 40MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with a 3x zoom capability. The camera system also supports 4K video recording at 30fps and 60fps, as well as 720p slow-motion video recording at 960fps.

Other notable features of the Mate 30 include a 4,200mAh battery with 40W wired charging and 27W wireless charging, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device also runs on EMUI 10, a custom skin based on Android 10.

The Huawei Mate 30 is available in two storage variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The device is priced at $799, making it a competitive option in the high-end smartphone market.
