1. Nadia Mukami ¶
Singer Nadia Mukami was dumped by her ex-boyfriend who felt that their relationship was not working out for him. In an interview, Nadia shared her side of the story, saying:
"WHEN I WAS HAVING ALL THESE COURT ISSUES I WAS JUST YOUNG BUT NOW I AM MATURE. I FEEL LIKE I AM 30. I WAS CALLING HIM (BOYFRIEND) THE WHOLE DAY AND WHEN HE DID PICK HE PROMISED TO CALL ME BACK."
However, when he called back, he told Nadia that they needed to end the relationship, citing that it was not working for him.
2. Mike Mondo ¶
Radio host Mike Mondo was dumped by his girlfriend because he was earning too little. According to Mike, his ex-girlfriend felt that his salary of Ksh 50,000 was peanuts. Mike shared his story, saying:
"I have been left because of how much I make. It was kidogo. When I started doing radio I used to make 50 g’s a month. This lady I was seeing told me that that was too little telling me that she couldn’t be with a man that was making that little."
