A shocking revelation has left many stunned after a student, identified as Mwangi Njambuya, confessed to operating a carting business to raise money for his tuition fees at Mount Kenya University.
According to Mwangi, he was forced to start the business after the government cut off his scholarship despite scoring a B- grade.
Through his Twitter account, Mwangi explained how he has been operating in the informal sector in Nairobi, transporting goods for clients.
Despite his busy schedule, Mwangi manages to attend classes at the university's Parklands campus, where he is pursuing a law degree.
When asked about his decision to start the business, Mwangi said he was determined to complete his studies and become a 'learned friend' despite the challenges he faces.
