Manchester United defender Max Taylor has made a remarkable recovery from cancer, returning to full training after a successful treatment.
According to the club, Taylor has been in rehab for close to seven months after being diagnosed with cancer in February.
He has been working tirelessly with the club's medical and sports-science staff throughout his rehabilitation, and has now joined the wider group for full training for the first time this week.
On his part, Taylor attributed his recovery journey to the support of his family members, teammates, and the medical team.
"Without the invaluable support of my family, team-mates and, of course, the nurses and doctors, my return to training at this stage would not have been possible," he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to the club's medical and sports-science staff, saying, "I want to thank all of the club's medical and sports-science staff that I have worked with throughout my rehabilitation."
The 19-year-old's return to training is a testament to his strength and resilience, and he will continue to be involved intermittently as he steps up his return to the full-time programme.
