Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has made headlines for his kind gesture to a lifelong fan who beat stage three cancer.
John, a devoted Man United supporter, had never had the chance to watch his favorite team in action at Old Trafford, despite being a die-hard fan.
However, thanks to Rashford's generosity, John will now get to experience the thrill of watching Man United take on Brighton at Old Trafford on November 10.
According to reports, Rashford was moved by a public plea on Twitter from a user named Matt Waymont, who tagged the striker and his teammates Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba in the tweet.
Waymont revealed that John had beaten stage three cancer and that well-wishers had collected enough funds to fly him to England, but needed help getting him to a match at Old Trafford.
Rashford quickly responded to the plea, saying, "Hey man, drop me a DM. I'll sort this for you."
The response left fans in awe, with many praising Rashford as a "top man" for his kind gesture.
