Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has marked another milestone in her health journey with the successful completion of her spine surgery at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.

According to Passaris, the operation was a success, and she spent a pain-free night after the procedure.

"Thank God my operation went well. I had my first pain-free night in over two months. Thank you all for having my back, for your prayers and for wishing me well," Passaris said in a tweet on Tuesday.

Passaris, who had been experiencing recurrent back pain for over two decades, underwent the Medial Branch Block procedure to address the issue.

Her problem dated back to 20 years ago when she gave birth to her son and got even worse after she fell down the stairs.

Passaris will begin her physiotherapy on Tuesday to get fit following the surgical procedure.
