On Sunday, gospel musician Jimmi Gait returned to Kenya after undergoing medical treatment in India, where he had traveled for specialized care.

At JKIA, a crowd of enthusiastic fans and family members greeted him with flowers, gifts, and cheers, leaving onlookers at the airport confused about the commotion.

"I feel loved, I feel supported, and thank you so much," Gait said, expressing his gratitude to his fans and God for enabling him to receive treatment in India.

He revealed that he had been scheduled for surgery in Kenya but was spared due to the prayers of his fans, and instead, underwent tests in India that revealed the infection was in his stomach, which could have led to cancer if left untreated.

According to Gait, he will be under treatment for the next six months, and he thanked his fans for their support and prayers throughout his recovery.
