Why Women Stay with Cheating Husbands ¶
Published on September 17, 2019, a survey of Kenyan wives revealed some surprising reasons why they stay with their cheating husbands.
According to the survey, many women believe that men are born polygamous and that it's natural for them to cheat. Some women also stay with their husbands for the sake of their children, while others do so because they love their husbands despite their infidelity.
One woman, Suzie Kendra, said, 'Love Okay?? Love. women love from the heart.' Another woman, Kirong Lidya, stated, 'Because we don't have otherwise and we love our husbands.'
Some women also believe that cheating is a natural part of relationships and that it's not worth leaving a husband over. As one woman, Sharone Shaz, put it, 'Because when we love a person we honestly do love them.'
Others stay with their husbands because they have nowhere else to go or because they are financially dependent on them. As one woman, Eunice Sweetie, said, 'Some stay for the sake of children, or they share same health status, or he's loaded or treatment, find it difficult to walkout.'
However, not all women are willing to stay with a cheating husband. As one woman, Cindy Susan, stated, 'I have no room for a cheating husband even the Holy Bible that permits divorce on such grounds!'
Ultimately, the reasons why women stay with cheating husbands are complex and varied. While some women stay for love, others do so out of necessity or convenience.
