Kenyan musician Ali Kiba's marriage to Amina Khalef, the niece of Mombasa Governor Joho, has been in the spotlight since their April 2018 wedding.
However, the union is now facing challenges, with one of the sources of tension being Ali Kiba's mother, according to reports.
It was alleged that she held a birthday party for one of her grandchildren by Ali Kiba, inviting his baby mamas and wife to celebrate.
Ali Kiba's family has since come out in defense of his mother, with his sister stating:
"Boma ya Ali Kiba kunachomeka! Mother starts up drama as she invites all his baby mamas and wife to birthday party"
