On September 14, 2019, Manchester United picked up three crucial points after edging Leicester City 1-0 at Old Trafford, moving ahead of the Foxes on the table and giving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side some momentum.

Brendan Rodgers' Leicester City side came into the game having gone the season unbeaten, but Manchester United's Marcus Rashford had other plans.

Rashford scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 64th minute, after a poor challenge from Leicester City's Çağlar Soyuncu dropped the English star in the box.

David De Gea and Harry Maguire will be pleased with managing a clean sheet, with De Gea especially in his best form to deny a number of fantastic attempts from the Foxes.

The result places Manchester United in fourth place above Leicester City in fifth on the table.
