On September 3, 2019, a Toyota Fielder was stolen from Felix Kimani's home in Nakuru County. The vehicle was later found in Nairobi's Kariokor area, where three thieves were caught dismantling it.
The thieves were arrested on September 9, 2019, after a local businessman, Felix Kimani, sought the help of a traditional herbalist, Daktari Baba Nyuki, to recover his stolen vehicle.
Kimani had taken a loan to buy the vehicle and was determined to recover it. He had been advised by a friend to seek the services of Daktari Baba Nyuki, who uses live bees to nab thieves.
According to Kimani, Daktari Baba Nyuki placed his medicine near the stolen vehicle, and shortly after, the thieves were attacked by bees in Kariokor estate. Kimani's cousin then found the thieves in the process of dismantling the vehicle and had already removed the tyres.
The thieves were later arrested, and Daktari Baba Nyuki claimed that he treats various ailments, including cancer, and uses his magic powers to help people win court cases.
He is available in various towns across Kenya, including Nairobi, Kisumu, Kitale, Mombasa, Meru, Kisii, Nakuru, Embu, Busia, Eldoret, Naivasha, Nandi, Bomet, Kericho, Marakwet, and Pokot.
Kimani praised Daktari Baba Nyuki, saying he is a nice guy who had helped him recover his stolen vehicle.
