Published on September 14, 2019, Kamene Goro, a 27-year-old radio presenter, has expressed regret over revealing her body count, claiming it led to her losing big corporate deals.
While working at NRG radio in August last year, Kamene revealed that she had slept with 27 men at the time, sparking a heated conversation on social media.
The revelation made her a target of nasty trolls, with the conversation trending for days. Kamene maintains that she was being honest with herself, but did not expect the backlash that followed.
"It was one of the worst periods of my life. Not that I regret what I said, but the backlash was huge. A lot of corporates dropped me and even my employer at the time (NRG radio) put me on an ice block. It was treble just for sharing a honest fact," Kamene told True Love in September 2019.
Kamene believes that the conversation would have been different if she was a man, citing that every condom company would have run to him for endorsements. She also shared that the guy she was dating at the time advised her to reduce the number of partners to three or four.
