Published on September 13, 2019, the Buff Dudes' YouTube channel has become a go-to destination for those seeking inspiration and guidance on new diets and workouts. In a recent video, the brothers Brandon and Hudson White embarked on an intriguing experiment: trying intermittent fasting for one month.

For the uninitiated, intermittent fasting involves abstaining from food for extended periods, typically allowing an eight-hour window for eating and fasting for 16 hours. The brothers adopted this strategy, with Brandon and Hudson sharing their experiences with their fans.

Initially, Brandon found himself struggling with intense hunger, often leading to overeating. 'I am so hungry I end up binging on maybe more food than I usually eat in one meal,' he explained in the video.

Despite consuming large meals, Brandon felt he wasn't meeting his body's caloric needs, which he attributed to the lethargy and fullness he experienced after eating. However, he noted that this might be why some people use intermittent fasting for weight loss.

On the other hand, Hudson noticed significant changes in his body, including reduced calorie intake and increased water consumption. 'I've been drinking a lot more water, and I've been eating less calories overall,' he said.

Ultimately, the brothers' experiences with intermittent fasting were vastly different. Brandon found it didn't align with his schedule or goals, while Hudson gave the plan rave reviews, crediting it with helping him snack less, drink more water, and lose weight.

As the Buff Dudes' experiment demonstrates, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to eating. Instead, it's essential to focus on finding a plan that works for your goals without feeling punishing.
